What better way to start my first session for 2011 than with a super cute 1 year old and alot of cake! Meet Amelia almost 1 and a total diva already! Gorgeous blonde hair, BIG blue eyes and alot of spunk to match. Amelia is lucky enough to have so many grand parents and great grand parents in her life, all the more to spoil her with so today we did a 4 generation family photo which is just gorgeous!

Cake Smashes are always a blast and it’s always funny to watch the babies as you put them down in front of their giant cupcake, they kind of test the waters a bit and once they realise they won’t be in trouble they scoff it down before it ends, Amelia did just that, a bit confused as to what to do with it but once she tasted that icing and realised everyone was cheering for her she put on a great show which had everyone laughing!

Meet Amelia almost ONE !

Meet Christian, just turned ONE and one of the cutest little boys around. I can’t believe how grown up he looked ! He wasn’t at all interested in his cake at first but once he tasted the icing a little and realized how sweet it was he had a look of pure bliss on his face, it was priceless and he sure did end up making one big mess! Meet Christian ONE !

When we put 1 year old Gianni in front of his cake I thought he was almost going to not touch it at all, he wasn’t too sure about any of it at first but turns out he was not a fan of the texture of the icing or getting dirty lol ! Once the top was off that cake it was on and I think he ate 3/4 of the bottom! He is such an adorable little boy and I think it is safe to say with all the mmmm noises he was making whilst eating his cake he enjoyed every morsel! Meet Gianni ONE !

I first met Isabella 8 months ago when she was 4 months old. She was just the sweetest little thing but she really made me work for those smiles! Well she sure came packed with a million more smiles yesterday but boy is she fast on those knees! Such a happy little girl with the most beautiful blue eyes. Isabella didn’t take her eyes off that cake from the moment it was put down in front of her but she was a little unsure about touching it at first. It didn’t take her long to work it how tasty it was and that was when the fun began! Thanks for bringing your gorgeous girl back to me Jocelyn. Enjoy your sneak peek!

It’s almost criminal how fast the year goes. It seems like only yesterday I had a 16 day old Fiesty Charlotte in the studio and here she was today such a happy little girl with the cutest dimple and some crazy hair! Charlotte really made me laugh, you can’t half tell she is in front of the camera alot at home as everytime I would lift the camera she would stop smile and carry on, true model material this one!  She wasn’t too sure about the cake at first and really wasn’t too interested in eating it but she sure had fun smashing it and throwing little bits of cake and icing all over the room, I am still finding bits around haha! Meet Charlotte ONE !

I first met Taj when he was just 6 weeks old, he had the longest little fingers and plump little lips. Fast forward almost a year and he has grown into his fingers but his lips are still gorgeously plump! It never ceases to amaze me how much these babies grow in such a short space of time. Taj now has a mouth full of teeth and is such a little charater he pulls some of the funniest little faces. He wasn’t too sure about the cake at first but after a while he got into it and still managed to make a heap of mess and I so love the colour Taryn picked!! Meet Taj at ONE !

Turning one is a pretty great age to turn, I mean when else can you get a whole giant cupcake to devour to yourself and not get in trouble for the mess or masses amount of sugar you consume ? Meet Chiara just turned one and gosh she is gorgeous! Big blue eyes, mass of crazy hair and the cutest little personality. Happy Birthday sweet girl!
