{ Immie } | Perth Child Photographer

Today I was lucky enough to be invited to photograph Imogens 6th and 13th birthday party, as far as Imogen was concerned she was turning 13 so she was older than big brother Kody and well who are we to argue with that!?  There were Ben 10 performers, loads of food, a massive Ben 10 cake and of course all of Imogens family and friends to help celebrate, and although Immie wasn’t feeling the best i’m sure she had a great time. I am only going to post one photo from today it’s the only smile I think we all saw but sometimes all it takes is that one smile to make your day. Fiona and Jason once again it was an abosolute pleasure to spend time with you all today, thankyou for letting me get to know your gorgeous family you are truly amazing people and I think we can all learn alot from you guys

Imogen’s Nanna makes beautiful glass Ladybirds into jewellery inspired by Immie, Part proceeds go to the  Children’s Cancer Institute , So go and check them out and buy one for yourself and help find a cure for this monster disease.

{ Imogen } Perth Child Photographer

I’ve tried to write this blog post a few times now and I just can’t find the words I want to write, Instead I feel like I just want to cry life is so unfair sometimes and there is just no reason for it. Most of you will remember 5 year old Imogen from late last year where I photographed her and her baby brother. Imogen was back today with her whole family in tow for some family shots. Even though Imogen wasn’t well she put on a smile so we could get some Beautiful family shots. I’m not going to say much more I think the photos speak for themselves but I will say Thankyou to Fiona and Jason for sharing Imogen with me, she is just an amazing little girl who has taught me so much and she has so much fight in her. I hope these photos are everything you had hoped for and more.

This first one makes me well up, I don’t even think you knew I took this one Fiona

You guys know how much we love you, I am so glad you got to have these wonderful pictures done. The ones we had with Josh were the best ones we have ever had taken and our last and best family portrait. Wishing you many many more family pics, smiles and so much love. Oh Brandie, this week had again been crazy busy and I had yet to look at your blog. Tonight I went to look and I was blown away by how perfect you have captured my beautiful family. I think I told you that I was nervous about having these pictures taken of us and our beautiful Imogen, afraid she would look too sick. Though now I know I should never have doubted that you wouldn’t be able to weave your magic camera and capture her fight and beauty in one or actually quite a few photos. { Special Little Girl } | Perth Child Photographer

Today I had a very special little girl in the studio, you wouldn’t know that under her gorgeous big green eyes, huge smile and cheeky giggle that she has been battling the monster that is Neuroblastoma for the past 2 years. She is just an amazing little girl such a fighter and makes you appreciate everything so much more . We had a fun time together with her telling me about her trip to Queensland for her Wish from the ‘ Make a Wish Foundation’, even when she had had enough of me photographing her I would say just one more she would go ” ohhhh okayyyy “  and would come straight away lol. She was such a poser I was trying to catch her off guard but as soon as I would lift the camera to my face and turn in her direction I was always greeted with a big eye squishing smile, no sneaking around this girl ! I also did a few shots of  her nearly 8 week old baby brother Ashton. I really didnt expect to get any sleep out of him but I was amazed and got about 10 mins which was enough for me to get 2 sleepy set ups . I just love the shots of Imogen and Ashton , she loves him soo much and its just so adorable to watch her with him she knows just how to hold his dummy in to settle him so cute.
