Last month we celebrated Chloe turning 16 with a Great Gatsy Party, it was an awesome night with everyone getting into the spirit with dressing up so much fun!

A few weeks ago we celebrated Oakleigh turning FOUR with all of her friends. This year we decided on the Movie Moana for her theme, we do a different Disney Princess each year but this is by far my favorite movie out of them all !
This is the first party where we did 99% of the Desserts and Decorations ourselves, it was a mammoth task but I made list upon list and started prepping months before. The Cake was a massive 7.1kgs and 22 inches tall and everything was edible except the Moana figures, I had the vision in my head for months and I am so excited that I was able to pull it off and have it come together exaclty how I had envisioned it. All the desserts except the donuts were made by me, we painted the Kakamora coconuts and Michelle made all of the paper flowers and Oakleigh’s costume { Tiny Dancer Costume Design } , Oakleigh’s name cut out was made by Sweetwater Smiles Cards & Gifts , The Oar was made by Karens hubby over at Dream Catchers by Kaz and Ash .
Moana ( Charlotte ) and Pirate Jim were from Encore Kids Parties. All of Encore’s performers are students from WAPPA studying Musical Theatre, Singing etc so you don’t only get a person dressed up as that character you get a performer who BECOMES that character. From the moment Charlotte and Jim knocked on the door they became Moana and Pirate Jim, they stayed in Character throughout the entire party until they were out the door and managed to keep the kids interested in whatever they were doing. Charlotte’s voice was simply stunning, listening to her sing was like watching the movie, the kids get so taken in by seeing their favorite character come to life you can just see the belief in their eyes. Oakleigh is such a social kid but each party she gets so shy and takes alot of coaxing, Charlotte always made sure she was right by her side, cuddling her, talking to her and making her feel special. As soon as she left Oakleigh was asking to call her and ask her to come back every day ! We are lucky to have had Encore help us celebrate Oakleigh’s birthday for the past 3 years and will for many more to come and we are excited to have Jersey’s first Encore party too, it is the BEST money we spend. To be able to sit back and watch the magic in the kids eyes and the performers actually enjoying what they do and to capture those memories is priceless.
Oakleigh had an amazing day with all her friends and was so spoilt with all her gifts. A huge Thankyou to all those that helped celebrate <3
We usually like to do our babies Cake Smash on their actual birthdays but this guy was in hospital for his birthday and the week after so last week he was finally back to his usual self and well enough! His little face was priceless, he didn’t do so much smashing as he did eating ( he’s not silly haha! ) but he had a ball and porbly would have sat and eaten it all day!

Our Princess celebrated her 2nd Birthday in Cinderella themed style with Cinderella herself and her friends. This girl Loves disney princesses, dancing and all things glitter so this theme was perfect for her. She was so super serious for most of the morning, taking it all in but she can recite everything that happened that day and still talks about dancing with Cinderella her most favorite thing. A huge thankyou to all the small businesses who played a part in Oakleigh’s 2nd Birthday and for making our girls wishes come true xxx
Our sweet Oakleigh is 1 month old today! It’s crazy how quickly time fly’s, you feel like your pregnant forever and then you blink and they are already 4 weeks old! Our princess has changed so much already, I don’t think it’s possible to love her anymore even though she is a total rat bag in front of the camera! but she is ours, she is perfect and we are so glad she is here.

We have been keeping this little secret for a few weeks now, it hasn’t been easy and have had to keep everyone at bay and I must admit it was a little fun making everyone wait but we wanted to tell the girls in a fun way so we decided on some cupcakes where when they bite into it the coloured center it revealed the babies sex! The girls had a ball and are VERY excited as are Michelle and I, We can’t wait to meet this sweet little bundle xx

Well what a fabulous year 2012 has been!
I have shot a massive 279 sessions this year, Married my Gorgeous wife in New York, got one a few tattoo’s, turned 30 { eeek! } and watched my beautiful girls grow one year older. I feel so lucky to have the most beautiful clients whom have supported me again this year and shared their little families with me and I feel even luckier to have a loving, supporting, did I mention Gorgeous?! wife by my side every day whilst doing a job I LOVE.
So thank you to everyone who has made this year what It was, bring on 2013 it is going to be BIGGER and BETTER than 2012 !
